ABOUT Glen Innes
Glen Innes is a town in the New England region of New South Wales, Australia
with a population of approximately 6200. It is the centre of the Glen Innes
Severn Shire. It is located on the New England Highway and the Gwydir
Highway. Among the many attractions of this area are the extensive Land of
the Beardies History Museum, the town parks, fishing, fossicking areas,
Gibraltar Range National Park, several waterfalls, the Standing Stones,
which are large monoliths and World Heritage listed Washpool National Park.
